Spend your holidays on the Cilento coast by sailboat will make you discover a pristine place, full of lonely coves, crystal clear waters, picturesque villages and landscapes with dense forests.

The territory, which extends from the plain of Paestum to the Gulf of Sapri (in the province of Salerno) is characterized by the presence of the Cilento National Park, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Thanks to its endless resources and awards, it boasts a unique place in the ranking of the MAB (man and biosphere) of which only 350 places worldwide belong, a sustainable balance useful to protect biodiversity and development in full respect of nature that is the master.

It is an important destination, almost forgotten and therefore little beaten. This is why we came up with the idea of including it in our itineraries, with exclusively sailing boats, sailing with the same breezes that Ulysses used to escape the deceptive songs coming from the island of sirens.

Undisputed center of Mediterranean cuisine, sweet and fragrant earth, broom myrtles and rosemary decorate the profiles of the coasts along which we will sail.

The most beloved places of the Cilento to discover through a sea trip

Palinuro

Capo Palinuro is a promontory characterized by very high rocks that disappear into the depths of the sea dotted with many caves, perfect to be explored by sea.

You will be fascinated by the location that also deserved a quote in’ Aeneid of Virgil.

Crystal clear sea, sandy and wide beaches alternate with cliffs overlooking the water that hide suggestive caves such as the Grotta azzurra, the Blood Grotto and the one of the monks.

Do not miss a visit to the bay of Buon dormire, a small cove surrounded by rocks overlooking the sea, one of the most beautiful beaches of the Cilento, and the Natural Arch of Palinuro, an impressive rocky formation that emerges from the sea near the beach of Mingardo.

Agropoli

It is a characteristic old town, with tourist port and great charm.

Full of shops, bars and restaurants is also famous for the local pizza with buffalo mozzarella, served on a characteristic wicker basket.

Acciaroli

A lovely village by the sea.

Here Ernest Hemingway has stayed many times and has always been fascinated by the characteristic stone houses of the place.

Punta liscosa

If you love diving or less challenging snorkeling this is the perfect place to stop and dive.

The promontory consists of a coast rich in vegetation with a thousand shades of green and a shoal in the sea with very low depths where fish abound throughout the year.

Marina di Camerota

Among the most popular destinations of the entire Cilento coast, Marina di Camerota is located between two promoters overlooking the sea, rich in ancient defensive towers and large and ancient olive groves.

Here, as in all the coast, there are caves and the opportunity to admire beautiful backdrops.
